The Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) is a mandatory certificate for some products to get imported into the Kingdom. It serves to verify that your products have been registered within the SABER system and comply with the relevant Technical Regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Saber is an electronic platform used for registering conformity certificates in Saudi Arabia. It helps local suppliers and factories, whether products are imported or locally made. This is supervised by Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization. The platform operates efficiently, speeding up registration and reducing wait times. Entities involved include Ministry of Commerce, General Authority of Customs, and conformity assessment bodies.

PCoC - Product Certificate of Conformity
This certificate is required to demonstrate that your products have been registered within SABER and are in compliance with applicable Technical Regulations. This is obligated by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) to ensure the products’ conformity to the Saudi standards.
SQM - Saudi Quality Mark
This mark conforms and owned by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). It is endowed on products manufactured in a facility that has a robust and effective Management System to ensure continuous compliance to Saudi regulations.
SCoC - Shipment Certificate of Conformity
The Shipment Certificate of Conformity is used to facilitate customs clearance and ensure that the imported goods meet the required quality and safety standards. It also helps protect the consumers in the importing country from substandard or unsafe products.
