ال وزارة الصناعة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة (MoIAT) has announced an update for the EESL – UAE Scheme for household refrigerating appliances. Please review the key details below:
Key Updates:
- Scope: EESL – UAE Scheme
- Product: Refrigerators (Household Refrigerating Appliances)
- Amendments: Technical Standard updated to UAE.S 5010-3:2024
- Implementation Date: Effective from 01 January 2025
- Impact: All certificates issued under the previous standard will be invalid after 01 January 2025.
Client’s things to do:
- Review: Check your current ECAS certification for refrigerators.
- Testing: Conduct product testing under the revised UAE.S 5010-3:2024 standard at an accredited laboratory.
- Submit: Provide the required documentation and apply for updated certification through your Notified Body. You may call us for assistance.
